IronPort
Objective
Security company, IronPort, manufactures and markets a solution to the growing problem with spam and viruses. When they started a marketing offensive in the Nordic region they contacted PR agency JustPR Ltd to get support with their PR activities. Their criterions were cost effective solutions with maximum impact.
Strategy
At a first stage they decided to get two case studies written in English to ensure that all their clients would be able to read them. A traditional agency would have interviewed the customer and written the text in the local language and then translated the text to a high cost and possibly loosing quality in the transition.
Tactics
Instead, JustPR let one of their highly skilled international freelancers interview IronPort’s customer in the local language (Swedish) and later write the text directly in English as she is fully bi-lingual and has extensive experience in working in both languages. The process was quick, accurate and cost efficient.
“Even if translators often are very good, the “native sound” sometimes gets lost when a text is translated. Originals are always better” says Helena Liden, MD of JustPR.
Results
As JustPR Ltd works across the whole Nordic region IronPort has now commissioned JustPR for more case studies, this time in the other Nordic countries.
